Getting the House Together
We're almost there!
I unpacked the last of the boxes the yesterday and it's slowly but surely becoming a home.
We're hoping the window man comes on monday to fix the panes and the window sashes and then our house warming is on the 30th!
Yay!!
Paint
I painted today. I sprayed my blue cage glossy black...went through a can and a half and it's still not finished. However, I got a little frustrated as I bought a 250ml can of spray paint from Jack Hammers for R35 and my friend Jake who works at Shelflife in Loop St sells Montana spray paint for R40 and you get 400mls! Besides that irritation, I also painted my ugly pine shelf I've had since childhood and I touched up my "project chair" which still needs recovering.

Okay, quick update.
There was a fire on Saturday in Bree Street, I think they said it was caused by a fish and chips shop...it was an old building, made me sad, but I'm also really fascinated by fire.
My new house is still in chaos, Leila and I have been moving things around and trying to find places for all my studio stuff since I now no longer have one.
Ben thinks that the threshold is a great place to sleep [ poor boy got tick bite fever again ;( ]
I've tied my wire heart thingy to the ugly cage on the back door and stuck my new affirmations in.
