Long Church

One of the shops I stock is Sitting Pretty, they have new premises on Long St, just close to Church St. I took some photos whilst I was dropping off stock last week. I felt like making my pics look different today, so I did this tutorial, it's quite nice.




I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the Cafe Mozart has changed hands again, this time into the creative clutches of the Madame Zingara crew. It's most beautiful.
They have fancy tea and free Wi-Fi, the perfect place for breakie!

Tit For Tat

I bought a tatting shuttle.
I'm not sure how tatting works, but I'm sure one of my many books will explain this beautiful craft for me...

A Weekend

Weekend.
It was nice.
I rode bike everyday.

We had bitch craft.
We rode bike in Simon's Town.
And Marietjie gave me this beautiful Skermunkil bracelet as a belated birthday gift!

Being A Man

I sometimes fantasize about being a man.
Not my ideal man, but actaully being a trendy man.

These are my fantasies of being a man with beautiful chocolate brown hair, a big beard, vintage sunglasses, suede shoes, navy blue jacket and old jeans, riding bike...or something.

Bicycle Madness #2

Went into Woodheads this morning.
They have these lovely refurbished bicycles from the 1920s.
They're hellishly pricey. But nice to look at.

They also make leather satchels there.
Think I'm gonna get one made for my bicycle riding.

Home Sweet Field Office

I've become part of the furniture at Field Office.
I've got some X stitch to finish and some other bits and bobs to finish up, so I thought I'd come to my home away from home and have all my meetings here today too!

I'm Back!

I've just come back from 2 weeks in the karoo.
What a lovely space.
