So, remember the post I did about Josh
Well, the time has come to see him play live.

This Saturday at the Alma Cafe in Rosebank, Cape Town.
See the FB event here.

Josh has invite Gene Kierman of Miss Texas 1977 to join him on a few tracks as well as, um, me.
I haven't sung in public in a while, so this is a great little ice breaker for me.

It's dinner and a show for R140 (includes a home-cooked Alma meal - with veg option)
19:30 for 20:00
Alma Cafe
Alma Road

Hope to see you there!
P.S You MUST book, there are only a few spots left.

These are my favourite items from the Citymob Shop this week.

There are some really good deals on there.
Some end in 14 hours, some in a couple of weeks, so don't waste time!

I'm finally releasing my fridge magnets!

They've been in the background forever but the push to stock the STAD store in Braamfontein is just what I needed to finish them up.

Each little maple round is hand painted with acrylic paint and varnished and packaged with love.
Keep important things on your fridge, like things to remember and messages to your lovely.

Each set is different. Three in a pack for R150.

I just have to show everyone how talented my man is.
He made this really cute shelf for outside of our shower.

He used bits of old wood from a building site, got them planed, screwed them together, oiled it, put in a few hooks and secured it to the wall.
So clever! I can't wait to go home and use it.

You can check his artwork and music here.
Also, how sweet that he "set the scene" with my succulents, creams and some clothes!

I'm opening up a shop in Johannesburg with 5 other amazing Cape Town creative brands!

It's all so exciting.
The shop is called STAD and will be at 70 Juta Street in Braamfontein.

The amazing brands I'll be sharing with are:

Dark Horse: makers of furniture, homeware and apparel.

Dear Rae: Gorgeous jewellery
Diana Ceramics: Beautiful earth inspired ceramics.
Mingo Lamberti: The most fashionable t-shirts in town.

Woven Ceramics:  Delicately crafted ceramics.

And finally, me, Lauren Fowler: Maker of things, illustration and other stuff.

We'll be taking residence from the 15th of September until the mid December.
So basically, we've just helped you do the Christmas shopping.

I'll have all my usual suspects in the shop including gift cards, art prints, DIY x-stitch kits, etc.
